Join us for Artful Communion, a sacred space where we practice the Presence of God through creativity. Upon registering, you'll receive a PDF coloring page designed to inspire your creativity, but you're also welcome to bring any project that resonates with you—painting, knitting, poetry, cross-stitch, or any other medium. This is a time to awaken your creativity in the Presence of the Master Artist and embrace the Creative Spirit within.

Meet March's Artist in Residence: Jennifer Axcell is the Champion of Rest and visionary behind Loto Wellness Collective. As an artist, she loves to practice a wide range of mediums including wheel throwing clay, glass blowing, and metal-smithing. She will be guiding us through a Meditative Circle practice utilizing acrylic paints on canvas.

Meet your Creative Co-Host: John Maikowski is the executive director of Transforming Creatives, a nonprofit based in Colorado that is helping form creative souls as they transform the soul of society. He is a sacred experience designer, creative director, and ordained pastor with contemplative and spiritual direction practices.

Event Details:

💻 2 hours, held on Zoom. The recording will be made available for registrants who can't attend the live event.

🎨 Open to all types of creative expressions.

👩‍🎨 No previous creative skills required. If you can color, you can create.

What to expect during these monthly prayer days:

1. We meet together via Zoom for the first hour. We kick things off by engaging in a guided spiritual discipline within the theme for the month, then break out into small groups to pray for one another.

2. Next, we take 90 minutes alone offline to meet with Jesus on our own. This time on our own is self-guided, utilizing optional creative prayer activities provided by Infinitum.

3. For those who have the time and desire, we gather back together for ~30 minutes to share what we’ve heard from God and pray for one another.

Crystal discovered that art isn’t just about making something beautiful—it’s about making space for oneself.

About January's Artist in Residence: Dennis Wright is a Colorado native who lives and works in Denver. He attended the Colorado Institute of Art in 1987. His paintings illuminate color from a foundational and textural understanding. He is known for his large works, which are unique in style, color, and texture.
